Solar Stixx

Bird Barrier has a new product to solve bird & critter issues under solar panels. Solar Stixx represents a different approach to solar panel exclusion. Stixx is a ready-to-install unit. It provides adjustability to where you install including Spanish tile roofs or angle applications.

Clip-And-Mesh Solar Panel Protection Kits

The original clip-and-mesh system developed by Bird Barrier is still the industry standard in solar panel protection. In this patent-pending approach, steel mesh is fastened to the perimeter of the panel array by innovative, non-invasive, non-penetrating clips extending from the panels' frames into locking sliders. Clips are available in a UV-stabilized plastic that won't scratch or mar the panels or metal for use in more extreme climates.

For convenience, we offer our innovative clip-and-mesh system in 25ft and 50ft kits that include our 8-inch-high PVC-coated galvanized steel mesh and enough clips to secure it at the recommended spacing. These are recommended for most projects: just measure the perimeter of the array and purchase the appropriate combination of sizes to fit your situation.

Bulk Solar Panel Protection Clips

Patent-pending, UV-stabilized plastic clips are fast and easy to secure and will not scratch or mar the panels. Metal clips are available for use in more extreme climates. Bulk Solar Panel Protection Mesh

Our 19-gauge 1/2"-opening galvanized steel bird exclusion mesh is coated in a black, UV-stabilized PVC coating that blends in with the shaded area below the solar panel array to provide long-lasting protection against birds and critters. The mesh can be cut and bent into custom shapes and secured to the solar panels with our solar panel clips or Bird Barrier Bond.
