Optical Gel

Optical Gel is offered in a 24-pack for small jobs, and the 200-pack Contractor Box.

The 24-pack will cover 12-16 feet, single row in a straight line for ledges up to 6 inches wide. The disks should be no further than 6 inches apart, measured center to center. If the surface is wider, like a rectangle or a square, multiple rows will be required. The 24-pack is generally used on residential projects. Often two or more boxes are recommended depending on the scope of the work.

The 200-pack will cover a much larger surface area. You can protect up to 80 square feet with 200 disks. These are generally used on commercial projects.

Optical Gel is guaranteed for two years when installed as specified by Bird Barrier America, Inc. The site shall be cleaned thoroughly with Bird Barrier Dissolve-It, glued down with White Lightning Silicone or Bird Barrier Bond, and spaced no more than 6 inches center to center. Warranty claims must be accompanied by photographs of the installed products.

Bird Barrier makes Optical Gel installation easy with the Optical Gel Pro Pak.

Now everything you need to handle a small or large bird project is included in one box. Because it’s effective against all birds and pressure levels, you can treat pest bird nesting and roosting 'hot spots" or larger areas.

Optical Gel Mag (24pk)

Our traditional Optical Gel with a magnet embedded in the bottom of each disk.

No glue needed. Just remove the lid, place and reposition if necessary.

Optical Gel CLIQ

Cliq allows Optical Gel disks to be quickly installed, removed and replaced. Simply slide the disk into the slot and it CLIQs in place, press the tab and Optical Gel slides effortlessly out of the base. Ideal for industrial sites where Optical Gel is to be replaced on a periodic basis.

The Cliq base can be glued or screwed to the surface. Made of UV stable plastic to provide a long service life even in hot sunny conditions.

Optical Gel Zip (25pk)

25 Zip-Tie Bases + 25 Zip-Ties

(Optical Gel™ not included)

Snap Optical Gel into ZIP and insert included zip-tie under the base to install Optical Gel onto irregular surfaces and any tubular building feature.

Enhancing original Optical Gel:

• Can be placed onto places like round pipes, tree limbs, mesh grating, etc.
• No glue = no mess
• Reposition only costs the zip-tie
• No surface discoloration from glue
• Easy to remove and reapply

Optical Gel STIQ

The Stiq locks Optical Gel disks into place, allowing for quicker lid removal. The 6” Handle shows the minimum recommended distance between Optical Gel disks and includes helpful installation instructions.
